Linton Crystal Technologies Signs Manufacturer’s Representative Agreement for India Market

May 21, 2019 (Rochester, N.Y.) —Linton Crystal Technologies (LCT) announces it has signed a manufacturers’ representative agreement with International Marketing Corporation (IMC) in Mumbai, India. IMC will provide sales support in India for LCT’s Czochralski (CZ) process crystal growers.

There is increased opportunity for Linton’s products in India due in part to changing government regulations and an emphasis on domestically-made materials. Additionally, solar panel manufacturers are showing more interest in growing silicon wafers rather than sourcing them, so they can control the process from start to finish.

“IMC’s experience and expertise in providing technologies and solutions, particularly to solar customers, complements LCT’s long history of developing technologies that improve process, efficiency and quality for this market,” explains Ron Kramer, director of business development for Linton Crystal. “Having IMC in place in India will help us seize on the new opportunities in this market.”

Linton Crystal Technologies is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of equipment for producing monocrystalline ingots for the semiconductor, machined part and solar industries. The company specializes in silicon and produces equipment for materials such as germanium and gallium arsenide. They also provide technical support, process engineering support and replacement parts to help clients get businesses off the ground, improve productivity and continue to innovate.

IMC has more than 40 years’ experience providing professional solutions in state-of the-art technologies to Indian customers. The company began providing solar/photovoltaic solutions in 2008.
