To better enhance crushing of raw material Si to be added to the crucible, the PSGW40930 couples microwave heating with cold water quenching, then additional microwave heating and drying prior to mechanical crushing. This achieves continuous production, reduces pollution and enhances its efficiency. When microwave thermal crushing was compared to simple mechanical crushing, silicon loss accounted for 0.3%-0.5% lower.
